1. CUTSCENES AND INGAME VOICES

Those are the original cutscenes' dialogues and Lara's instuctions for Experiment 2 levels. If 
you didn't understand some parts of the cutscenes, you can read the dialogues here (some things 
may be slightly different):

L: So, that meal really does attract dwarves.
D1: Mmm, I haven't eaten this in ages. It's quite good, but the way Dworfina made it.... mmmm.... 
You can't beat her.
L: Enough. Why did you push me and steal my flippers?
D1: I couldn't let you to go through the water currents anymore. Someone had to beat the spider 
guardian, and get the cog wheel from the other side of the mushroom field, and I got the meal.
L: Hey, just a minute. Someone had to get the wheel. That was a suicide action.
D1: You're quite a skilled woman, and you had a good chance of beating the monsters. It's been a 
long time since us dwarves left the underground because of the monsters, and there's very few of 
us who still remember our true origin. A lot of our race was lost among the human population so 
if you'd lose: what's one human compared to the whole dwarf population?
L: Huh?! What do I have to do with this, and I don't remember having anything to do with you. And 
I don't care about this quest anymore. It has taken me enough time and nerves already. And it 
seems you know an easy way out.
D1: Listen, that archaeologist, is my cousin and I found out what he's trying to do. Stealing our 
races' treasure to use its powers. I won't let him do this and I won't show you the exit until 
you get the dwarfian heritage for me!
L: Hey, what's that cousin thing?
(Dwarf runs and hit Lara, so she falls)
L: This is the last time you push me!

Premonition:

D2: Congratulations Miss Croft, you did it.
L: And for the price of what? I've almost been killed by all those monsters.
D2: your reputation convinced me that you'd be able to do it. Especially, if you are searching 
for some mystery.
L: Well, mister archaeologist or should I say dwarf?
D2: Huh?
L: I know it all. I've met your cousin. But I don't know why it was necessary for me to go through
 the whole freaking cave, if it is obvious that you all know of a better entrance.
D2: Yes, that's true. It's not far from here. The river leads to the waterfall that finishes in 
the open lake. We just needed someone to collect the wheels, so we're able to open the doors to 
the dwarfian treasure.
L: Those tablets?
D2: Yes, now you better slowly pass them to me. And no playing around.
L: I thought dwarves were braver, but I guess I was wrong.
D2: Enough! Give me those tablets! Now!
L: Here they are mister scary dwarf.
D2: Hey, get her!

L: Ah, das Essen gefllt Zwergen anscheinend.
Z1: Mmm, ich habe so etwas seit Jahren nicht gegessen. Es ist wirklich gut, aber so wie
Dworfina es macht.... mmmm.... Damit kannst sie noch lange nicht bertreffen.
L: Genug. Warum hast du mich gestoen und meine Schwimmflossen gestohlen?
Z1: Ich konnte dich nicht mehr durch die Wasserstrme schwimmen lassen.
Jemand musste doch den Spinnenwchter besiegen und das Zahnrad von der anderen mit Pilzen 
bewucherten Seite holen und ich habe auerdem dieses Essen hier bekommen.
L: Hey, warte ne Minute. Was meinst du mit jemand musste das Zahnrad finden? Das war der glatte 
Selbstmord.
Z1: Du bist eine ganz schn geschickte und starke Frau und du hattest sehr gut Chancen die 
Monster zu besiegen.
Es ist lange her seit wir Zwerge den Untergrund wegen den Monstern verlassen haben
und es gibt auch nur noch wenige von uns, die sich an ihre wahre Herkunft erinnern.
Sehr viele unserer Rasse waren unter den Menschen verloren gegangen, wenn du also verloren 
httest, was wre schon ein Mensch im Vergleich zu einer ganzen Rasse.
L: Huh?! Was habe ich damit zu tun, ich erinnere mich nicht etwas mit dir zu tun gehabt zu haben.
Und mich interessiert diese Suche nicht mehr. Es hat mich sowieso schon genug Zeit gekostet und
nerft mich langsam. Mir scheint, du kennst einen einfacheren Weg hier raus.
Z1: Hr mir gut zu, dieser Archologe, er ist mein Vetter und ich habe herausgefunden, was er 
versuchen will.	Stehlen den Schatz unserer Rasse und seine Kraft einsetzen will er. Ich kann das 
nicht zulassen und ich ich werde dir auch nicht den Ausgang zeigen, bis du mir das Zwergenerbe 
bringst.
L: Hey, was soll diese Vetter Geschichte?
L: Das ist das letzte Mal, dass du mich rumgeschubst hast.

Premonition:

Z2: Meine Glckwnsche Frau Croft, Sie haben es tatschlich geschafft.
L: Aber fr welchen Preis? Ich wre beinahe von all diesen Monstern gettet worden.
Z2: Ihr Ruf hat mich berzeugt, dass nur sie es schaffen wrden. Besonders wenn es darum geht, 
dass sie Geheimnisse lften sollen.
L: Nun gut, Herr Archologe oder sollte ich lieber Zwerg sagen?
Z2: Was?
L: Ich wei alles. Ich habe Ihren Vetter getroffen, aber ich hab keine Ahnung warum es fr mich 
so wichtig sein sollte, dass ich durch die verdammte Hhle musste, wo es doch offensichtlich ist, 
dass ihr alle von einem besseren Eingang wisst.
Z2: Ja, das mag schon stimmen. Er ist nicht weit weg von hier. Der Fluss fhrt zu Wasserfllen
die in einem See enden. Wir brauchten einfach jemanden um die Rder zu sammeln damit wir in der 
Lage sind die Tren zu ffen, die zum Zwergenschatz fhren.
L: Diese Rder hier?
Z2: Ja, und nun sollten sie sie mir langsam bergeben. Und keine Tricks.
L: Ich dachte immer Zwerge wren mutiger, aber ich glaube, ich lag da wohl falsch.
Z2: Genug! Gib mir diese Rder! Sofort!
L: Hier haben sie die Rder, Herr furchterregender Zwerg.
Z2: Hey, schnappt sie!

L : Ainsi, ce plat attire vraiment les nains.
N1 : Mmmm, cela faisait longtemps que je n'en avais pas mang. C'est vraiment bon, mais la faon 
dont Dworfina l'a prpar ... mmmm... tu ne lui arrives pas a la cheville.
L : Ca suffit ! Pourquoi m'avez-vous pouss et vol les palmes ?
N1 : Je ne pouvais pas te laisser continuer a aller dans les courants. Quelqu'un devait combattre 
l'araigne guardienne, puis rcuprer la roue dentele de l'autre ct du champs de champignons. 
Et puis j'ai pris mon repas.
L : H, attendez une minute ! Quelqu'un devait rcuprer la roue. C'tait un acte suicidaire.
N1 : Tu es une femme tres agile, et tu avais de tres bonnes chances de vaincre les monstres. Cela 
fait bien longtemps que nous les nains avons quitt les sous-sols a cause des monstres, et tres 
peu d'entre nous se souviennent de notre vritable origine. Beaucoups d'entre nous se sont perdus 
et mels parmis les peuples humains.  Alors si tu avais chou ... qu'est-ce qu'une vie d'humain 
compare a tout une population de nains ?
L : Hein !? En quoi est-ce que tout cela me concerne? Je ne me souviens pas avoir quelque chose a 
voir avec vous. De plus cette quete ne m'interresse plus. Elle m'a pris assez de temps et assez 
enerve comme cela. Et apparemment, vous savez comment vous en tirer.
N1 : Ecoutes, cet archologue, c'est mon cousin et j'ai dcouvert ce qu'il a l'intention de 
faire. Voler les trsors de notre peuple et utiliser leurs pouvoirs. Je ne le laisserai pas faire 
et je ne te montrerai pas la sortie jusqu'a ce que tu m'aies rcupr l'hritage des nains !
L : H, qu'est-ce que c'est que cette histoire de cousin ?
(Le nain s'enfuit en percutant Lara, la faisant tomber.)
L : C'est la derniere fois que tu me pousses !

Premonition:

N2 : Flicitations Mlle Croft, vous avez russi !
L : Et pour y gagner quoi ? J'ai failli etre tue par tous ces monstres.
N2 : Votre rputation m'a convaincu que vous seriez capable de le faire. Particulierement si vous 
deviez chercher quelque mystere.
L : Bien monsieur l'archologue, ou devrais-je dire monsieur le nain ?
N2 : Hein !?
L : Je sais tout. J'ai rencontr votre cousin. Mais je ne comprend pas en quoi il tait 
ncessaire que je traverse toute cette monstrueuse caverne si vous connaissez en effet une 
meilleure faon d'y accder.
N2 : Oui c'est vrai. Ce n'est pas tres loin d'ici. La riviere mene a une cascade qui se termine 
dans le lac extrieur. Nous avions juste besoin de quelqu'un pour rcuprer les roues afin que 
nous puissions ouvrir les portes du trsor.
L : Vous parlez de ces tablettes ? 
N2 : Oui, et maintenant, vous devriez me les passer gentilment. Et pas de mauvais tour !
L : Je pensais que les nains taient plus courageux, mais apparemment j'avais tort.
N2 : Ca suffit ! Donne-moi ces tablettes ! Maintenant !
L : Les voila,  monsieur le nain trouillard !
N2 : H, attrappez-la !

HINTS (spoilers!):

Forgotten cave (part1)
----------------------

1. fastmovingwater room: don't jump into a water
2. green area with poison fluid: jump into the opening in the wall - combine those two objects 
and cut through the webdoor which you acces by monkeyclimb

The temple (part1)
------------------
1. small spiders area: pick up dead spiders and use them as puzzle pieces in the little webs on 
the walls; the exit is under one of the pushable blocks
2. climbing through fires in small spiders area: (Lara must be always hanging only on her hands 
or she'll get burned) start on the right side, with Lara's back facing to the opened trapdoor; 
safely climb down into the opening only by hands - make sure Lara is in the right corner; climb 
down on hands four or five times; now shimmy into the left corner; climb down a little more; wait 
for the last fire to stop for a few seconds and drop. You must do this without Lara get burned or 
she'll die.

Forgotten cave (part2)
----------------------
1. jumping off the cocoon: don't try to jump through the stalactites; go to the right corner of 
the edge, where you can see an entrance to the dark blue room and a tile a little to the left of 
it. Do a running jump and correct Lara's direction to the left so she will land on the tile
2. destroying a big cocoon: you have to find two axes - chop down those two brown "branches", 
that are supporting the cocoon - lit the torch and burn three spiderwebs, which are also 
preventing cocoon from falling. There is more torches if you decide to take some of them with you 
into the lower section of the cave - keep at least one where it is, until you know wher to lit it
3. going back to the upper part of the cocoon cave: trap yourself into the cave from where the 
river flows - there is a pushable block
4. leaving the cocoon cave: The cocoon has fallen? Then you can use ropes and jump into the 
opening which is just under the second rope
5. uderground river with currents: You have to find flippers. Start with climbing on the red rock 
which is in the middle of ceiling. When you have the flippers, go to the river and use the 
flippers infront of the water.
6. What does that switch before the yellow room that leads to the flippers do? Nothing, it's 
broken.
7. underwater switch puzzle: there are three small rooms with switches. Code is above the doors. 
The hint is in one of those small switch rooms, where three switches are on the same wall. In 
each room pull only one switch.
8. mushroom area: shoot the red mushrooms, push the others to the white flowers, find the small 
mushrooms, push angel blocks onto the angels on the floor - easily overlooked small mushrooms: 
one is where the big mushroom once was, the other is in the dark cave in a crawlspace. Missing 
one pushable block? - There is one hidden crawlspace in one of the walls - you have to shimmy 
there.

Crystal caverns
---------------
1. there are three different paths you can choose - you'll always be able to go back at some 
point
2. nine switches room: In this room there is a projector, but its lens are blocked - find the 
other part of the pipe and shoot the wooden plug - now you are able to see what the switches do - 
there may be more then one code
3. the golden block near cog wheels after crossing the lava: it is blocking the access to the 
switch. Near it, is a small blue statue of an angel. Have you alredy finished blue crystal statue 
puzzle? If not, find it and complete it first.
4. Dwarves' village area: missing a crystal?
green part1 - in a cave from where you can access the roofs of the huts
green part2 - it broke when you pulled it from the wall - it felt down through the wires
white - go to the Temple level
blue - in the underground lake
red - in the area which is accessible after catching a dwarf
Basically you need to catch a dwarf here - before you do - have you found the second cog wheel 
and cooked a meal and got the lasersight?
5. In a room with transparent blue statue Lara can't shoot? Correct. When the door is opened, 
shooting in that room would cause a crash. Treat that as some sort of sacred place, where Lara 
can't use her weapons. Some glitches may occur here, if you want to pull out the guns. When the 
door will close, Lara will be able to shoot again. Well it is possible to find a way of getting 
to the other side of the door without closing them. If you manage to do that (there is no reason 
for this) don't shoot, until the door closes - just walk to it.

The temple (part2)
------------------
1. Switches under the angel may be used more then once.
2. Water room - You'd better pull each switch only once, because - one pull: the switch is on - 
second pull: the switch is off - third pull: the switch is on again - and so on... Since they are 
all the same it is hard to remember which one must be turned on again so use some tactics here.
3. Fire spirit: Well, if one water won't destroy him, the other one will for sure.
4. What's with that 10 switches room? - codes for switches under golden angel are there (use 
light and binoculars), but this is also an entrance to the secret room: to open secret golden 
proteus door, you have to pull the right switch combination

Premonition
-----------
1. Some strange things will happen here: If something looks very familiar, also the puzzles are 
familiar. :)
2. Having troubles with that big worm? There is a hint - Lara is looking at what? What to do with 
that?
3. To lower the cage find three switches with angellike creature on it.
4. There is an underwater door that needs 4 golden proteuses to open them.
5. You found a hidden switch (using crowbar) and sow an underwater door to open. If you don't 
have all 4 golden proteuses, you won't be able to see what's behind them. Sorry. It's a secret.
6. At the end of this level the editor will crash to desktop or try to load tutorial level. 
You've reached the end.

3. SECRETS HUNTER (spoilers)

Forgotten cave (part1):
1 - right at the start, behind the first pillar before you reach the water room
The temple (part1):
2 - get the crowbar right from the begining of the level - it is hidden in the right wall from 
where Lara started. Go making the series of jumpes, where the green light is coming from. 
Somewhere between those jumpes, there is a hidden crawlspace. Use crowbar to remove the web, 
looking like a door.
Forgotten cave (part2):
3 - a path to the flippers: after you jump across the water, using timed wall block that there is 
a deep cave, before going down there jump across, shimmy left and pull up into the opening, find 
there a secret
4 - after putting on the flippers, jump into the water on the right side and swim through the 
water current on the right
5 - after using the emerald gem and loosing the flippers, swim to the right waterfall, turn 
around, safety drop/grab. Shimmy left into the hidden crawlspace. Find there a GOLDEN PROTEUS 1. 
Crystal caverns:
6 - GOLDEN PROTEUS 2 in the area where you shoot the red/purple gem - jump to where you shot the
gem and shimmy right
7 - GOLDEN PROTEUS 3 - before using sliding rope! You can access it only before you turn the 
wooden hut with two bridges - from one of the bridges of that hut you can jump and grab the wall 
(see different textures), then shimmy right. Then look there before jumping down or climbing up.
The temple (part2):
8 - You've just entered the temple. I hope you'll be unlucky and push one of the wrong 
combinations first - a door to the 10 switches room will open. the code for those switches is in 
the Crystal caverns, In the room with the golden angel statue. On that angel, there are codes - 
on the wing for the wall switches left from the doors and on the neck for the wall switches on 
the right from the doors. But this is the hard to figure it out hint. There is very obvious hint 
somewhere in The temple level. Make the correct combination and go back. If you did it right, a 
camera will show you the secret room with opened doors - go there, collect the goodies and a 
GOLDEN PROTEUS 4
Premonition:
9 - Find a hidden switch behind the crowbar door and pull it. You will find it in the corridor 
where also the wall blade is. Jump into the water, where the four bridges are, swim to the 
underwater door and use 4 golden proteuses. Swim through, collectin goodies, watch for air 
indicator. When you'll hear the secret sound there will be uzis and some more ammonition and in 
that room there is also an underwater corridor that leads to a secret area, there you can find 
the next secret.
10 - accessible through secret 9 - this is a small, but special secret area, revealing something 
more about...
11 - the garden secret - find where the garden cogwheels are (when you'll enter the garden, 
somewhere in the left part of the garden) - use lasersight and shoot the thing that is blocking 
cogwheels from turning - the camera will show some spikes going up and down. Then the secret 
underground path will be safe for Lara.
